Offered for the first time ever – genuine handwriting from the iconic Spanish artist and modern art master, Pablo Picasso, authenticated and encapsulated by (BAS) Beckett Authentication Services. Each handwritten word was carefully removed from a handwritten letter Picasso sent to his friend and banker, Max Pellequer.
Each order will include one Picasso handwriting fragment selected from the dropdown menu. An example of the selection of Picasso words can be seen in the 2nd photo. Each word in the dropdown menu is an actual word handwritten by Picasso. You will receive one authentic piece of Picasso's penmanship encapsulated by Beckett.
Each encapsulated word was individually removed from a March 3, 1953 letter written by Picasso from Vallauris, France—where he lived and worked during one of the most prolific and experimental periods of his life. The letter humorously discusses his latest lithograph, "Le Pot", as well as his vast income from his ceramics and was sent to his friend and banker, Max.
Genuine Picasso letters are highly sought after and can fetch tens of thousands of dollars, and his artworks sell for millions. This encapsulated word offers a rare and affordable opportunity to own an authentic piece of Picasso’s handwriting.
The cost of authenticating a single word of Picasso’s handwriting is $100 on Beckett's website.
